David Hume Institute events are free of charge and often oversubscribed.  As a charity, we are only able to bring you free events due to kind donations from individuals and organisations.  We have a responsibility to ensure efficient use of donations.

We understand people's plans may change. If you are unable to attend an event, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so that your place can be released to someone else. You can cancel your place on Eventbrite. Following our recent consultation, all events from now onwards will incur a late cancellation fee of £15 to cover administration and catering costs. The fee only applies for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.
