I would like to know about the history of the Institute and what you do.

The David Hume Institute was set up in Edinburgh in 1985 to consider legal and economic aspects of public policy questions and to promote the results widely. It aims to be a distinctive non-metropolitan voice, based in, but not confined to Scotland. A brief history of the Institute can be found here and click here for further information about what we do.
