Professor Brian Main, Director of The David Hume Institute said: "The Institute is delighted that Lord Mackay of Clashfern, one of the countrys leading authorities in the legal field and currently President of The David Hume Institute, will be giving his talk on 8 March. It is expected that his talk will provide a platform for discussion concerning the usefulness of the law, and lawyers in particular, in society."
